“Vecchio Mulino e Antichi Mestieri” Museum
“Vecchio Mulino e Antichi Mestieri” Museum is a private collection of tools, instruments and utensils born from the passion for the things of the past and the patience to collect and preserve them of its creator, the former miller Dario Darra.
The objects exhibited in the rooms of the former mill cover the time period between 1800 and 1960 and are grouped according to the different activities to which they were linked.
Entering the museum we find the corner of the kitchen, the cellar-pantry, the bedroom, the corner dedicated to the agricultural world, the tools of the carpenter, bricklayer, bicycle mechanic, shoemaker, carpenter, barber and hairdresser, the tools of the peat digger, and much more… and for a better understanding of their use and functioning, various prints are also on display which describe the environments, the tools and the way of life of those who used them.
