Suggestive environments characterized by a great abundance of slowly moving water, where herbaceous vegetation typical of humid places develops, fishing reserves and habitat oases for countless animal species.

The Mantellina peat bog was the natural set of the feature film “The Blue Planet” by director Franco Piavoli. Poetic narration of the cycle of seasons in the countryside landscape, from the awakening of life after the winter frosts to the blooms of spring, of the summer heat in the work of the fields and of the twilight of autumn.
