A “niche” production and very high quality. Pozzolengo saffron, one of the best saffrons in Italy, is another typical product that this wonderful land offers.
Among the many producing countries, Italy boasts the best saffron in the world for its excellent chemical and organoleptic properties and since 2001 it has also been cultivated in Pozzolengo, a town immersed in the Morainic Hills of Lower Garda, which lends itself to this culture thanks to a Mediterranean microclimate due to the proximity of the lake.
