Punta Grò beach
From Lugana, following the lake and walking in the direction of Peschiera del Garda, you arrive at Punta Grò beach, at the end of the municipal territory of Sirmione.
With centuries-old trees and large green lawns, the beach allows you to sunbathe, walk, play or relax reading a book, immersed in the panorama of the lake and a natural setting of plants and water.
The beach is free and can be reached on foot or by car, or by bus, walking a short distance from the nearest stop.
It is equipped with showers and a volleyball court; the paid bathrooms (0.50 euros) are also accessible to people with disabilities. At the Punta Grò Bistrot, which serves as a kiosk/bar for the beach, sunbeds are available without the need for a reservation.
Dogs are allowed on the beach but it is not possible to camp or light fires. The beach also hosts the Casa del Pescatore museum site dedicated to the history of the Sirmione fishing economy.
