New multimedia space (Monzambano Castle entrance tower)

The project was born from the desire of the municipality of Monzambano to give new life to the entrance tower of its medieval castle, setting up the interior of the tower and transforming a space previously used as a warehouse into a cutting-edge cultural place for the dissemination and safeguarding the material culture, traditions and cultural, historical, ethnographic, rural and archaeological heritage of the territory.

Created with innovative technologies, this space manages to tell the story of the Castle, the context in which it is located, and the events of its past inhabitants in an interactive and entertaining way: the visitor can in fact take a sort of virtual journey through time, through three of the four rooms inside the tower, touching on different aspects linked to the history of the castle and the surrounding area in the Middle Ages.
In the first room the visitor will virtually come into contact with the castle of Monzambano and its rural context. In the second room we will go into more detail, and the visitor will be able to discover up close and in detail the characteristics of the construction history and the characteristic elements of the Monzambano castle.
Finally, in the third room, you will have perhaps the most interactive experience of the entire journey: through the presence of three typical inhabitants of the Castle…
