National exhibition of dessert and meditation wines

The event takes place entirely in the heart of the historic center of Volta Mantovana, inside the medieval castle, of which the towers and extensive parts of the city walls are preserved and which during the Renaissance with the construction of Palazzo Gonzaga became the summer refuge of the powerful family valance; a magical place where all eras have left precious testimonies: the frescoed rooms and decorated ceilings, the King’s bathroom, the suggestive Italian gardens, the ancient stables of the Palace and the street that connects the Palace, the Towers and the Belvedere of the Church, paved with moraine pebbles, which will host the market of Italian sweet wines and typical local products.

The Volta Mantovana exhibition is one of the most important exhibitions in the sector in Italy and offers a broad overview of the finest Italian passito wines and also constitutes an exceptional showcase for agritourism, hotel and restaurant activities and for the entire hilly area of Mantua which frames the event.

The exhibition now represents a point of reference for producers of high quality wines from all over Italy (even small ones) who can present themselves not only to operators in the sector, but also to an increasingly large and interested audience of enthusiasts.
