Monument to the Knights of Vittorio Veneto
The monument was inaugurated on 4 November 2006 and made with marble made available by the Bresciani Marble Consortium.
The work is dedicated to the Knights of Vittorio Veneto, an order established in 1968 to express the nation’s gratitude to those who, having fought for at least six months during the First World War or previous conflicts, had obtained the war merit cross.
The liberation of the city of Vittorio Veneto, towards the end of the First World War, became the symbol of a great process thanks to which Italy became one, free and independent.
