Monument to Heroic Women

Commissioned by the National Carabinieri Association, Castiglione delle Stiviere and Solferino Section, with the support of institutions and private sponsors, it was inaugurated in 2010.
Bronze work by the artist Angelo Aime, to celebrate the care and assistance work of the women of Castiglione during the Battle of Solferino and San Martino in 1859. The monument is located in the churchyard in front of the Cathedral.
