Monument to Giovanni Chiassi

Located at the top of Via Ripa Castello (once Rizzato degli sgherri from the name of the prison guards once located here) is the Monument to Giovanni Chiassi, an engineer from Castiglione, Garibaldi’s colonel, member of the National Parliament who died in the battle of Bezzecca.
