Memory Path

The “Path of Memory” is an ideal map created by the Lonato Section of the ANPI in memory of our “Martyrs for Freedom”: Deportees, IMI, Partisans, Patriots, Victims of Kefalonia and all the anti-fascists to whom the Main square of Lonato, it is one of many possible in our country.
The “Path of Memory” was born following research which saw the collaboration of the Lonato Section of the National Infantryman’s Association, the “La Polada” Association and the Lonato Section of the ANPI. The study in question led to the publication of a book divided into two volumes (Then the night fell 1943\1944 – Then the night fell 1945), which crosses the history of the Second World War and its protagonists (for better or for worse) with that of Lonato in the period from the spring of 1943 to the autumn of 1945.
