– Lonato del Garda
Lonato railway station
The Lonato railway station building was built in the Austrian era (1849-1850), and still today maintains an appearance very similar to the original one.
This station, on the Ferdinandea Railway line, is characterized by a facade that has a tympanum supported by massive Doric columns, while the entrance side from the town is refined by an elegant hemicycle staircase and small green areas.
Although the stops are not frequent, arriving in Lonato from the railway allows you to reach the village through a very suggestive route in the historic centre.
