The area of the morainic hills of Garda is crossed by 4 main cycle routes

The area of the morainic hills of Garda is crossed by 4 main cycle paths which wind along the natural borders of the area. Significant MTB competitions are organized in the area, in particular the South Garda bike and the South Garda road, which has become the “Gran Fondo Colnago” in Desenzano.

1. “Alpi-Garda-Po” cycle path
   The itinerary develops along the cycle-pedestrian path in its own location along the ridge of the Mincio river and artificial canals, within the Mincio Regional Park, where it coincides with the “Mantua-Peschiera” cycle path. In the area of the morainic hills of Garda, it crosses the municipalities of Volta Mantovana, Monzambano, Ponti sul Mincio.
2. Cycle route Mn 5 – “Morainic Corridor” (approximately 46 km)
   High Morainic Corridor Cycle Path (Km 21)
   Lower Morainic Corridor Cycle Path (Km 25)
   The Corridoio Morainico Alto cycle path is a cycle path in the Upper Mantua area that connects Cavriana to Ponti sul Mincio, a town located near the mouth of the Mincio river near Peschiera del Garda. The track runs along the morainic hills south of Lake Garda crossing a landscape full of orchards and vineyards until it reaches the Mincio river. The Lower Morainic Corridor cycle path is a cycle path in the province of Mantua, in the Upper Mantua area, which connects Castiglione delle Stiviere to Pozzolo sul Mincio in the Mulini della Volta area.
3. From Castiglione delle Stiviere to the Valtenesi cycle paths – Castiglione/Lonato route (15km)
   It connects the town of Castiglione delle Stiviere with the municipality of Lonato up to the hamlets of Maguzzano, Barcuzzi, Sedena, Drugolo from where the two Valtenesi cycle paths bifurcate (one hilly and a second flatter-wavy one) which reach both, on a dedicated path , the municipality of Salò, through paths of naturalistic and cultural excellence.
4. “La Via dei Laghi” cycle path (27 km)
   It crosses the municipalities of Lonato and Ponti Sul Mincio on the perimeter side closest to the lake.
