Drugolo Castle

The ancient village of Drugolo dates back to the 10th century. Of probable Lombard origins, the ancient village of Drugolo was a fiefdom of the Averoldi, to whose dominion the name of the castle is owed, who lived until the mid-twentieth century and whose name is still linked to the castle which stands out for its exceptional condition of conservation (today the current owners do not allow visits).
The walk through the hills of Drugolo allows you to reach the ancient property of the “Capuchin Convent“, which is also privately owned and therefore not accessible.
