Church of the Disciplini

The origins of the church are unknown. The building was certainly built before 1738, the year the construction of the current basilica of S. Giovanni Battista, which is adjacent to it, began. The facade has a single register.
The interior is divided into three small naves, in the apse there is the fresco depicting the “dead Christ” and in the central vault the depiction of the four Evangelists, painted by the Valtrumpino painter Angelo Busacchini during the last restoration interventions which took place between 2000 and 2001.
