Church of Santa Maria Immacolata

The Church of Santa Maria Immacolata in Lugana was built on the lake shore between 1909 and 1913 with the heartfelt contribution of the Lugana community, which procured the stones for its construction and of which it has become the spiritual point of reference.

A simple but evocative construction, also thanks to the backdrop of the lake, it was inaugurated on 8 December 1913 as a chapel subject to the parish of Sirmione, and then became a parish on 17 May 1942. Consecrated on 7 March 1981, it was completely restored in 2014.
