Lonato – Padenghe

Starting from Drugolo (Path 801 Morti della Selva – Lonato del Garda), in the S-E direction follow the track that leads to the La Pampa equestrian centre, continue towards the E and enter the woods, turn left, cross an old renovated village, leave the road on the left Cascina Calvino and go down via Ronchi and via Calvino.
Follow the route of the Brescia – Salò cycle path to get to the small Romanesque church of Sant’Emiliano (11th-12th century) and from here on a fun stretch you go up to the Medieval Castle of Padenghe.
Now the route descends into the town of Padenghe, first along a short and characteristic route full of steps and ramps, then along via Focardi, via Roma, via Beretta to reach the town hall. The route soon leads to the lake at Lido di Padenghe.
