Ugo da Como Foundation

On the green morainic hills of Lake Garda, the monumental complex of the Ugo Da Como Foundation contains the properties of the Brescian Senator Ugo Da Como (1869-1941) who built a citadel of culture here. A tree-lined avenue leads to the Venetian Visconti Fortress, according to Venetian strategists an exemplary model of fortification, also praised by Napoleon Bonaparte. From the crenellated walls you can enjoy a splendid view of the entire Lake Garda basin.
