The itinerary (which passes through the municipalities of Lonato del Garda, Polpenazze, Manerba) takes place along the spurs and ridges of the Morainic Hills, originating from the ancient glaciation around 20,000-10,000 years ago, which surrounds Lake Garda to the S-W, in a succession of extraordinary landscapes marked by historical, architectural and cultural testimonies determined by the presence of man.
It passes through areas of intense urbanization with large stretches of hilly areas covered with woods and grassy meadows, other stretches in agricultural areas with typical cultivations of vineyards and olive groves.
