the paths

from the moraine hills to the medieval villages between history, nature and faith, these places attract for the sweetness of the landscape and the tranquility of daily life.

The Beauty that we witness challenges us to be not only custodians of a thousand-year-old heritage to be preserved, but also creative in activating valorization workshops that respect the past and its values, but also love the present and its possibilities. Ensuring that the enormous cultural and relational heritage of our country becomes Locus Lucis, a widespread place to experience Beauty. Sustainable development is made up of high intangible components, often considered fruitless or marginal: landscapes, local communities, typical productions, crafts, cultural heritage, heritage of art, culture and faith, experienced as disaggregated factors that suffer the pulverization dictated by administrative borders and excessive doses of parochialism. Yet, they can constitute the tool for connecting places and situations, cultural and environmental assets, monuments and minor attractions, through entertainment activities such as workshops, visit experiences, more or less temporary installations, events and historical re-enactments which can constitute some of the main stages of a journey to discover the vast and plural territories of Italy. Religious tourism is a great opportunity for everyone (Christian community, civil and cultural institutions, businesses, third sector world): an enormous reserve of value for Italy and for the Italians of today and tomorrow, as well as a source of employment qualified in the field of creative know-how, the cultural industry and the creation of homogeneous tourist destinations. The experience of religious tourism does not stop at being evocative, capable of recalling a past to be hosted, but above all it aims to be generative, that is, capable of transforming memory into hope. And, in this sense, paths of faith take on a fundamental role, to the extent that they are conceived, proposed and lived as an experience of research, healing and transfiguration.
