The wines of San Martino della Battaglia Doc

San Martino della Battaglia Doc and San Martino della Battaglia Doc liqueur take their name from the locality of the same name where, on 24 June 1859, the historic Risorgimento battle was fought. The production area extends south of Garda, favoring the driest and stony hilly areas where the Friulian Tocai, present in this wine at least 80%, has found its ideal environment. The limited production and the refined winemaking techniques produce pleasant wines, with aromatic characteristics, particularly enhanced in the liqueur version.
